What is UCAPE?
UCAPE is a cultural association under Belgian law founded in 1993. It is a member of the Conference of INGOs
of the Council of Europe and participates in its work.
UCAPE members include:
– educational institutions (schools, colleges, high schools) represented by their head teacher or a designated representative
;
– individual members motivated by the UCAPE project.
The countries currently represented within UCAPE are: Germany, Belgium, Spain,France, the United Kingdom, and Slovenia.
We are open to welcoming other European institutions interested in our project into our association.
UCAPE aims to promote European citizenship and convey the values of peace, dialogue, and fraternity through cultural and linguistic projects carried out in person or remotely between its members.

European Diploma of Competence
UCAPE offers young people in its establishments the opportunity to prepare for the European Diploma of Competence
(three levels) based on the validation of three skills:
– Knowledge of Europe
– Language skills
– Mobility
The requirements are of course adapted to the age level: school/college/high school.
