Youth symposiums

Objectives of the Youth Symposiums

The Youth Conferences organized byUCAPE enable European students to exchange ideas, debate, and experience European citizenship in a practical way. These meetings promote the discovery of other cultures while developing essential skills: communication, argumentation, public speaking, teamwork, and self-confidence.

Organization and proceedings

Each symposium lasts between two and four days, depending on the theme and host country. Work sessions are mainly conducted in English. In addition to the workshops, young people take part in social events that strengthen team spirit and promote harmony.

The most recent Youth Conferences took place

  • in Bad Homburg (Germany) from Friday, February 13, to Monday, February 16, 2026 (MUN-style conference with 78 students from 9 schools and 5 countries: Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Slovenia)
  • in Strasbourg (France) from Wednesday, May 6, to Saturday, May 9, 2026 (with the participation of 74 young people from 10 schools and 4 countries: Germany, Belgium, Spain, and France)
