News Item 1 – First DEC graduating class in Castelanaudary (11-Aude)

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, a beautiful ceremony was held at Collège Jeanne d’Arc in Castelnaudary (Aude) to celebrate the school’s first graduating class of DEC students. After a two-year program, 20 ninth-grade students received their diplomas under a bright, sunny sky. The pride and joy of the students, parents, and teachers were palpable! Congratulations to the students, as well as to Laurent BOYE, the school principal, and his team for their dedication to the UCAPE project!


News Item 2 – Youth Conference in Strasbourg

74 young people (aged 14 to 16) from 10 schools and 5 countries (Germany, Belgium, Spain, and France) gathered in Strasbourg from Wednesday, May 6, to Saturday, May 9, 2026, to “Celebrate Europe, its riches, and its diversity.”

In addition to visiting the Council of Europe and the European Parliament, the young people participated in workshops, and their video will be available soon!

A wonderful conference that successfully combined work sessions (in English) with socializing! Congratulations to the students, and a big thank you to the coordinator and the chaperones!

News Item 3 – MUN Youth Conference in Bad Homburg

78 young people aged 15 to 17, from 9 schools in 5 countries (Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Slovenia), participated in the 4th MUN Conference organized by UCAPE. The event took place in Bad Homburg (Germany) from Friday, February 13, to Tuesday, February 16, 2026.

Congratulations to the young people for showcasing so many skills! And a big thank you to the organizers and chaperones!

News Item 4 – 2025 Trainer Symposium

The 2025 Trainers' Symposium 2025 took place in Anjou (Angers and Saumur) from Thursday, October 2 to Saturday, October 4.

The program included a conference on the challenges of an "Ocean Pact" for Europe, opportunities for discussion
in workshops, as well as cultural visits and social events.
