News 1 – DEC awards ceremony at Collège Saint-Louis in Saumur (49)
On Friday, January 16, 2026,
Mr. David MARAIS, Headmaster of the Institution Saint-Louis in Saumur (49), organized a ceremony to celebrate the first graduating class of the DEC Collège.
Mr. Jean-Pierre CROISSANT, President of UCAPE, congratulated the young people for their
commitment to the DEC program, as well as the teachers involved in the European outreach project.

News 2 – 2025 Trainer Symposium
The 2025 Trainers' Symposium 2025 took place in Anjou (Angers and Saumur) from Thursday, October 2 to Saturday, October 4.
The program included a conference on the challenges of an "Ocean Pact" for Europe, opportunities for discussion
in workshops, as well as cultural visits and social events.

News 3 – Study trip
From Wednesday, May 7 to Friday, May 9, 2025, a study trip enabled a group of UCAPE trainers to gain a better understanding of the Bavarian school system.
The visit to two schools (Edith Stein Gymnasium in Munich and Gymnasium der Benediktiner in Schäftlarn), as well as discussions with the management and staff, were very enriching and a source of inspiration for a new project aimed at young people.

News 4 – Youth Symposium
A youth conference brought together 86 young people from our schools in Bad Homburg, Germany.
Five countries were represented (Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom). The preparatory work carried out beforehand enabled high-quality exchanges.
