First of all, we would like to welcome you to our website. Throughout the various pages, you can discover our project and our proposals at

UCAPE is a cultural association under Belgian law founded in 1993. Its headquarters are located at
, TORHOUT.

Since 2000, UCAPE has had participatory member status with the Conference of INGOs of the Council of Europe
. It therefore participates in its work, particularly during the two annual sessions in
Strasbourg.

UCAPE aims to build bridges between its member schools in Europe, to transmit
and share the values of Peace, Dialogue, and Fraternity.
We are convinced that openness to others, to other cultures, to other
languages, is a source of mutual enrichment.

Through its concrete proposals, UCAPE aims to:
– promote education on European citizenship, encourage and promote the work of young people's
on Europe, and facilitate debate and the search for common goals.
– encourage the sharing of teaching experiences between teachers,
meetings between young people and adults at conferences, and exchanges in person or via
videoconference.
